The Fokker Dr.I, nicknamed the Red Baron, is the most recognisable fighter aircraft of all time, let alone WWI . At that time, this German Triplane was incredibly manoeuvrable, but quite slow. The Red Baron was piloted by a flying ace of the Great War: Manfred von Richthofen who aroused fear but also recognition. This new model from COBI is the perfect replication of this historic aircraft. The model consists of movable parts such as a propeller, wheels and ailerons. Its slender and durable construction will give every collector joy. The set includes a unique figure of pilot Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the “Red Baron”. He can be put at the controls of a plane armed with two heavy machine guns. In addition, it has a stand with the name of a model printed on it.
