Relive the maritime history of the Baltic Sea with this high-quality building block model of the ORP Sęp. This 1:300 scale replica honors one of the most resilient vessels of the Polish Navy. Designed with precision and durability, this set is a must-have for history enthusiasts and collectors of naval architecture.
The ORP Sęp (Polish for “Vulture”) was a Polish Orzeł-class submarine launched shortly before the outbreak of World War II. Built in the Netherlands, it arrived in Poland just months before the conflict began.
During the Invasion of Poland in 1939, the Sęp participated in Operation Worek, a strategic naval defense intended to protect the Polish coast from German landings. Despite being damaged by depth charges early in the campaign, the crew’s bravery kept the vessel operational. After the fall of the Polish coast, the submarine managed to break through the blockade to Sweden, where it was interned for the remainder of the war. Post-war, it returned to Poland and served as a training vessel until 1969, making it a true symbol of naval longevity.
This building set captures the sleek, intimidating profile of the Orzeł-class submarine with remarkable accuracy.
Authentic Detail: Features durable pad-printed markings that won’t peel or fade, ensuring the historical insignia remains sharp over time.
Scale Precision: Built at a 1:300 scale, making it a perfect companion piece for other naval vessels in the same collection.
Collector’s Display: Includes a sturdy display stand and an identification placard featuring the ship’s name.
High-Quality Construction: 190 high-grade blocks that fit together seamlessly, providing a rewarding building experience for fans aged 7 and up.
