This is a solidly built and very authentic model of the B-24D. I was very impressed with the engineering for this model-especially the way the wings tie into the fuselage. They are very sturdy. The only weak points are the rear vertical stabilizers that attach to the tail with only a two post brick. But the good news is they are very easy to re-attach if they come off. The bomb bay doors and fuselage attachments are a little weak but applying a little glue to the pegs could help a lot with that. Overall a very impressive model. Cobi has hit their stride with this iconic bomber from WWII!

I absolutely love this set, the B24 doesn’t get nearly the attention that the B17 does, I was so glad COBI decided to do this set, the model is super detailed and went together very well, the wing structure is surprisingly very strong which surprised me, this model is quite heavy after being built. Cannot say enough good things about this set!

This is a beautiful model and very sturdy; mostly. The vertical tail stabilizers are pretty fragile but easy to put back on and the bomb bay doors fall off pretty easily as well. The engine intakes look more circular in photos but an actually very ovular which makes it look slightly inaccurate. The model is also very tail heavy so it includes a clear support rod to keep it on its forward landing gear. All in all, this is a fantastic model and the cons do not take away from how good it is.

I feel like people only know about the b17 which is more talked about but the b24 is rarely ever talked about. The details on the plane is great and the durability of this is great, especially the wings. B17 is a great product but this one is as good. All cobi sets might have a slight problem but I mean who cares? Great product I recommend it the price is great too.
