COBI Battle of Berlin Soldier Pack #2064
Six Soldiers from the Final Battle in Europe
The COBI Battle of Berlin Soldier Pack #2064 brings the final days of World War II in Europe to your collection. This 77-piece historical set includes six detailed figures representing Soviet, Polish and German forces during the struggle for Berlin in 1945.
Each figure features a distinctive uniform, facial expression and selection of battlefield equipment. The set also includes a military bicycle, transparent display stands, historic weapons and several useful accessories for creating a compact display or larger wartime scene.
COBI Battle of Berlin Figures and Accessories
The six included figures represent several groups that fought during the final campaign:
A Soviet tanker wearing a black padded crew uniform
A Soviet infantryman with a steel helmet and greatcoat
A Polish People’s Army soldier
A German soldier wearing ammunition pouches and camouflage trousers
A wounded Volkssturm fighter with a bandaged head
A Volkssturm cyclist dressed in civilian clothing
The varied uniforms make the figures especially useful for collectors building a late-war European display. They can stand alone as a complete scene or be placed beside vehicles from our COBI tank collection.
Historic Weapons and Battlefield Equipment
The COBI Battle of Berlin set includes an unusually broad collection of military accessories. These pieces help distinguish each figure while adding more possibilities for display.
Included weapons and equipment feature:
Panzerfaust 60M anti-tank weapon
StG 44 assault rifle
Karabiner Mauser 98k rifle
Two PPSh-41 submachine guns
TT pistol
Tellermine 42 anti-tank mine
Fuel can
Removable helmet
Military bicycle
Transparent display stands
The printed uniforms, faces and equipment details give each soldier an individual personality. Printed elements also provide lasting detail without relying on stickers.
The Battle of Berlin in 1945
The Battle of Berlin was one of the final major engagements of World War II in Europe. The campaign began on April 16, 1945, when Soviet forces launched a massive offensive toward the German capital.
One of the first major obstacles was the German defensive line at the Seelow Heights. After breaking through those positions, Soviet armies advanced toward Berlin and surrounded the city.
Fighting inside Berlin became a fierce street-by-street struggle. German army units fought alongside members of the Volkssturm, a militia assembled during the final months of the war. Many Volkssturm fighters had limited training and were issued whatever uniforms, weapons and equipment remained available.
Soviet armored and infantry units pushed toward the center of the city. Soldiers from the Polish People’s Army also took part in the wider Berlin operation. Berlin’s garrison surrendered on May 2, 1945, bringing the battle to an end.

Build a COBI Battle of Berlin Display
This soldier pack is a strong addition to a World War II collection because it includes figures from several opposing forces. The included bicycle, mine, fuel can and varied weapons create more display possibilities than a basic figure assortment.
Pair the soldiers with a Soviet armored vehicle such as the COBI T-34/85 Micro Tank, or use them to add people and equipment to a larger urban diorama.
Collectors can arrange the figures around barricades, damaged buildings, tanks, or military trucks. The wounded soldier, civilian clothing and mixed equipment help capture the desperate nature of the fighting during the closing days of the war.
