The COBI Panzer III Ausf. H Tank 2672 recreates one of Germany’s most important early World War II medium tanks. Built in 1:28 scale, the finished model offers an impressive combination of exterior accuracy, mechanical detail, and interior features.
The turret rotates, while the 5 cm main gun can be raised and lowered. Working linked tracks allow the tank to roll across smooth surfaces. Removable upper sections reveal the crew compartment and a detailed brick-built engine beneath the rear deck.
A German tanker figure is included with a wrench and fuel can, making it easy to create a maintenance or display scene. The set also includes a printed nameplate identifying the tank and scale.

ring Operation Battleaxe in 1941, German Panzer III crews faced heavily armored British Matilda II tanks. On the Eastern Front, the appearance of the Soviet T-34 revealed the limits of the Panzer III’s armor and firepower.
These battlefield lessons eventually pushed Germany toward heavier vehicles and larger guns. However, the Panzer III remained an important part of Germany’s armored force during the critical early years of the war.
