The COBI Top Gun F-14 Tomcat #5923 may be small, but it reports for duty with serious display power. This 1:300 scale aircraft is based on the legendary F-14A Tomcat, one of the most famous Navy fighters ever to launch from an aircraft carrier. Thanks to its Top Gun styling, compact size, and display stand, this little jet is ready for your shelf, desk, or carrier deck.
The real F-14 Tomcat entered U.S. Navy service in 1974. It became famous for its swing-wing design, long-range intercept role, and powerful presence at sea. During the Cold War, the Tomcat helped defend carrier battle groups across the globe. It also saw action during Gulf of Sidra incidents and later Persian Gulf operations. However, many fans know it best from the iconic 1986 Top Gun movie, where the F-14 became a pop-culture aviation legend.
