The PZL P.11c was a Polish fighter plane designed and built in the late 1930s. It was a development of the earlier P.11 and P.11a models and was considered one of the most advanced fighter planes of its time.
The P.11c was powered by a Bristol Mercury VIII radial engine and had a maximum speed of 395 km/h. It was armed with four 7.92 mm machine guns mounted in the wings and had a total of 900 rounds of ammunition.
The P.11c played a significant role in the defense of Poland during the early stages of World War II. However, it was outclassed by the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 and suffered heavy losses during the German invasion of Poland in September 1939.
Despite its shortcomings, the P.11c was praised for its maneuverability and was a popular fighter among its pilots. Its design influenced the development of later Polish fighter planes, such as the PZL P.24 and PZL.50 Jastrząb.
Today, only a few examples of the P.11c survive in museums around the world, serving as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of the Polish pilots who flew them.

1 review for COBI Pzl P.11c #5742
Chief c. (verified owner) –
The PZL P.11 has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, and when I saw Cobi offered a kit of one I just had to have it! This kit was my first aviation set from Cobi and I loved every second of the build!
