The Boeing F/A-18C Hornet ™ is an American supersonic multi-role US Navy aircraft, which has been in production since 1978. It is one of the most modern US Navy aircraft. In 1992, a contact was signed for the delivery of 34 units: 26 C-single-seater aircraft and 8 D-double-seater aircraft were ordered. Only the first two machines were completely built in the USA.
