The Sd. Kfz.251 Ausf. D Halftrack 3049 was a German armored halftrack vehicle used during World War II. It was designed as a multi-purpose vehicle, capable of serving as a troop carrier, weapons carrier, and command vehicle.

The Sd. Kfz.251 Ausf. D was the fourth and final production variant of the Sd. Kfz.251 halftrack, and it was introduced in 1943. It had thicker armor than earlier versions, which increased its weight to 8.15 tons. It was powered by a Maybach HL 42 TRKM six-cylinder, water-cooled engine, which produced 100 horsepower and gave it a top speed of around 50 km/h.
