  1. Chief Warrant Officer 3 Kenneth Miller

Wow. Cobi absolutely nailed this bomber. I’ve never been a huge admirer of the Do-17, but this is one of the nicest bombers Cobi has released today. It’s long, but not as wide as you’d think.

The build is really solid, bags 1-3 are pretty much dedicated to the wing construction. The cockpit is beautiful, it’s bristling with machine guns, and the bomb bay is well designed.

Pro: Everything. I thought with my Ju 88, He 111, and B 17 my bomber force was complete. I was wrong, this has very easily taken my spot as my all time favorite. The canopy is one solid molded piece of transparent plastic, with perfectly applied paint. The glass detailing is on par.

Con: Not ordering off Military Bricks website. Seriously what was I thinking. You cannot and should not pass up an opportunity to order on this website. You will only save yourself some hard earned money on future products.

This bomber was made to go along with the Me 109 and Hurricane. I’m very impressed with it.

  2. Lieutenant Colonel Chrono578TGI (verified owner)

Stellar looking model and very sturdy. This is an almost perfect model. The only cons are there really isn’t enough ample space in the cockpit for the pilot and gunner and the underside is a lot more blue than the photos portray. The pilot and gunner almost have to lie down to fit and then rattle around like the plane has been shot down. The blue on the underside is a little jarring in stark contrast to the greens on top. Neither of which take away from how awesome this model truly is; the cons are just nitpicking. I wish COBI would make other bombers in 1:35 scale but I understand why they don’t. A B-17 would be like 20 pounds and have a wingspan of over three feet and that’s probably not feasible, anyway I digress
