Developed in 1944, the SU-100 strengthened Soviet anti-tank firepower during the closing stages of World War II. It evolved from the SU-85, which used the T-34 tank’s chassis. Engineers fitted a more powerful 100 mm D-10S gun into a fixed armored fighting compartment.
Unlike a conventional tank, the SU-100 did not have a rotating turret. Its design centered on bringing a powerful gun into action against enemy armor. The vehicle saw extensive use during the final year of the war and continued serving with numerous armies afterward. That long service life makes it an interesting subject for collectors exploring both WWII and postwar armored vehicles. Wikipedia

The model’s green armor, external fuel drums, and exposed track details reward a closer look. Display it from the front to emphasize the gun and sloped armor. Alternatively, turn it slightly to reveal the rear deck and engine access panels.
For a related vehicle in the same scale, pair it with the COBI T-34-76 mod. 1941/42 #2595. Together, these models offer a useful comparison between a turreted tank and a dedicated tank destroyer.
