Look closely and you’ll find much more than an unusual silhouette:
The supplied product images show how these details work together. You can arrange the accessories beside the vehicle to show the set’s contents, or pack them into the trailer for a busier display.
Developed by NSU, the real Kettenkrad combined a motorcycle-style steering arrangement with the traction of a tracked vehicle. Its compact size suited light transport work, while its tracks helped it cross difficult ground.
Kettenkrads served on the Eastern Front, in North Africa and elsewhere in Europe. Their duties included carrying soldiers, hauling loads and laying communication cables. These practical tasks made the vehicle useful well beyond the front line. Lyon Air Museum
Perhaps its most surprising role was towing aircraft. Kettenkrads moved Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighters around airfields, helping conserve aviation fuel. That connection makes the included Luftwaffe soldier especially relevant to the vehicle’s history. Learn more about the Sd.Kfz. 2 Kettenkrad on Wikipedia. Wikipedia
A supply vehicle adds a different story to a military display. Place this model beside a workshop, along a country road or near an airfield scene. The trailer and loose equipment invite you to depict the everyday work that kept larger formations moving.
